Far from shy and retiring, this glitzy up-market hotel sits right in the middle of the shopping district, close to an array of restaurants and high-end fashion stores and within walking distance of the West Lake. Restaurants in the hotel are first-rate, yet with so many chic dining options nearby including a Starbucks next door guests could be forgiven for wanting to dine in town every day. Getting out of town is also easy, with the airport shuttle stopping just over the road.
