The hotel was fantastic. Very close to shopping, supermarket and restaurant. The room was very clean and all furniture are well maintained. The performances at the lobby are the plus point for this hotel. You can sit down and listen to the music near the water fountain. A lot off local food was sell near by our hotel. Very close to Muslim Road Night Market that sell local muslim food and local suvenir.

We like about the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. However we feel that hotel staffs have not been equipped with good knowledge about the places in the city.
One drawback for us was the broadband connection was not free

The Ramada is located very near the scenic West Lake area of Hangzhou. The staff is helpful and friendly and the food service is good. Hangzhou is one of my favorite cities in China and the Ramada is located near the most scenic area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a water-fountain show in front of the Hyatt two time a day, once during the late afternoon and once after nightfall.....don't miss it!

Pleasant hotel but dated!

Service was below standard as is the quality of the food. We ordered room service breakfast before going to bed by hanging our order on the outside of our room door. The next morning we discovered that they hadn't even taken the order off the door! When we phoned to query what was going on, the staff were completely oblivious! Our breakfast finally arrived after we kicked up a bit of a fuss but it arrived in drips and drabs and they still got our order wrong!
There is no Wifi in the rooms but there is in the main lobby bar. There is however, access to the internet via cable in the rooms but overall the internet speed is very slow.
The level of English spoken by the staff varies from good to very basic but all things considered this did not impact on our stay.

Went straight to the 8th floor and checked in which only took a few minutes as we had booked executive city and was upgraded to lake view. breakfast was on the 8th floor or on the 2nd floor. It had the best beakfast we have ever had in asia.

Quite a good hotel but is getting a little tired. Restaurant needs brightening up but the breakfast was quite good, choice of chinese & western. Rooms quite adequate with a very large and comfortable bed. But without a doubt the Concierge staff were fantastic, good english and helpfull beyond expectations with arranging tickets for shows, guide for scenic tour and transport leaving Hangzhou, the three I would like to name is David, Johnny & Jerry,thank you for all the help and kindness extended to us during our stay. We look forward to seeing you all again on our next trip
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do go to the Song Dynasty show, it is spectacular. If going to the sound and light show make sure you book a taxi to take you there and pick you up after as there are many people and it is difficukt to get a taxi home

Great Weekend Break

We arrived to a warm welcome and checked in quickly without any issues. Our Junior Suite was very well appointed. The Executive lounge was supurb with wonderful views of the West Lake. The location of the hotel enabled easy access to the local shops and restuarants. We hired bicycles from the hotel and cycled around the lake. A really good weekend.
