It is normal condition hotel such as the cheap hotel rate,Japanese restaurant there and can be gone to the west lake on foot.

Lovely hotel but need improvement in its fasciliti

We've stayed here for two nights and both were quite comfortable.The staff were eager to help and room was tidy.(tidy which i refer differently to overall condition of the room)
However, the facilities including the room, were very old and some, such as gym, spa, message place, were in no condition to be used.
The carpet was old and the room was bit smelly.
Also, they asked for quite a bit of money as a deposit.
We didnt eat at the restaurant because we wanted to eat the street food, the real chinese food, but it seemd not too bad.
Also they were giving out paintings for the guest for free..
which no one would probably want to get anyway... the ones you could buy were nice tho with reasonable price.
(it might be just me... but I got electric shock everytime I pressed the elevator button..) this comment was partially for humour but all the other commment above are quite serious.

we stayed in this hotel on a rainy day, and i was surprised that this hotel did not have umbrellas for loan - neither in the room, nor at the front desk. rather disappointing for such a fine hotel.

this hotel is currently running a promotion, giving away a free chinese painting, done by students of the art academy, for each room stayed. but if you want a frame, you have to buy it separately, which, i suppose, is fair. as we checked out early in the morning, the collection station was not open, and we were unable to collect our painting.

Nice hotel but noisy room

my room was facing the main road, and even though we were up on the 10th level, it was terribly noisy from the traffic. it seems that the drivers in this city enjoy sounding their horn, and using at every available opportunity. couldn't sleep.

Please don't trust any taxi over there, they will bring you to very expensive and low class places/areas chopping off your pocket money.

upon arrive we were told by the reception that they had yet received any information from agoda.. after hanging for around 20minutes, finally he manage to get the confirmation from office and we finally get our room key.
we book a 3people room in agoda, however we were told by reception that there are no 3people room in their hotel, rooms were standard for 2people . we were disappointed with agoda and the hotel.
location wise, walking to 'qing he fang' is around 20~30minutes, going to 'xi hu' is rather far. nearby no convenient stall nor any hawker or restaurant during the nights, you will hear the traffic noise . not recommend this hotel.
