Restaurant Tip: Should try 外婆家good dining!

Couples Singapore, April 03, 2012	Average located near railway station, tastefully decorated 5.3 we went to hangzhou during the qingming festival weekend and all the hotels we wanted were fully booked. after coming across generally good reviews on several forums, we decided to get the standard room (without windows) as there was a promotion on agoda. despite already managing our expectations before the trip, we were still quite disappointed when we saw the room. it was small and dim, with an old bathtub which got flooded when we bathed. managed to steal a peek at someone's room and it looked nice and more spacious, so i guess there's some truth to the saying "what you pay is what yout get." however, we would still consider the promotional price overpriced for the room's standard, especially in china. the hotel is very near to the railway station but really not that close to the west lake as claimed. it's at least a 15-minute brisk walk away. we got the hotel to book the impression west lake tickets for us after much trouble. it seemed like the staff were quite inexperienced and it probably was their first time doing it. one guy was particularly helpful and he actually walked all the way out for about 10 minutes to pass us the tickets personally.
