Best hotel in Jiuzhaigou
Cozy deco and friendly staffs
8
The size of room is great, there is a sitting area with fire place in delux room. The bed is very comfortable instead of being hard like most of typical local hotels. The staffs wearing very colourful Tibetan style of uniform which brings extra charm.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Nice Spa pool area, worthy to spend half a day there.

Nice hotel with very good food
a big balcony, nice view and a variety choice of food
8.3
i would say it meets our expectation as the price per night is quite high especially at peak season. The hotel is famous for its view and design. Two things i like best is its massage service and sichuan restaurants. After a whole day of hiking, the foot massage and nice authentic sichuan food makes the stay at hotel totally worth the price.

Beautiful hotel
modern hotel, beautiful setting
8.7
Beautiful and grand hotel. The suite was very spacious and comes with lovely mountain view. Service was prompt whenever I requested for something (eg, how to get internet access, extra bottles of water, booking taxis/shows, room service, etc). Room service was good, but hotel breakfast spread was limited. The major issue is that, apart from my room, the rest of the hotel is cold. You need your jacket whenever you step out of your room. Even the spa (lobby and changing room) is cold!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Always book your taxi/tickets via the concierge or porters. Dont' engage taxis recommended by others. On one occasion, when the taxi driver (booked thru the hotel) was not available, the driver recommended his friend. This "friend" turned out to have a smelly car, was rude and late. But note that not all taxis booked thru the hotel are entirely honest either. We booked a taxi thru the concierge to go to Huanglong and airport for RMB700. Midway there, when we stopped at a lookout point, the driver suddenly told us that the snow has made the rest of the journey treacherous and recommended that we go to an alternative mountain/lake site (can't remember the name). Coincidentally, he took out a brochure of the alternative site, and said it will cost us an additional RMB200. We immediately smelled a rat and insisted on continuing our journey to Huanglong. we noticed that many other vehicles (including big tour buses) continued on the journey without hesitation. When we arrived at Huanglong cable car station, the driver asked for an additional RMB100 for parking. We said no, and after some discussion, he gave in! He also produced a bogus "parking receipt" that had no date and location indicated, but we were not persuaded.

Lovely hotel!!
The entire hotel building is just like Paradise!
7
True to its name, this is indeed the Paradise hotel. Beautifully furnished, nice and unique rooms, good views accompanying the nice weather. One could never ask for more.
Transportation wasn't really a problem to us maybe we hired a driver from the airport when we arrived.
Handfull of restaurants to choose from. And the spa..... 24 hours! Amazing!!

Nice and clean, friendly service
9.3
we had a nice very large room with a small sitting area and fireplace and a beautiful mountain views.
the staff was very service minded, kind and helpful.
we had some meals at the hotel and restaurants were nice with a high standard. however, the breakfast was not very impressive and very expensive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Most people come here to go in to the vally and so did we. We spent 2 days there and had a wonderful tim.

Relaxing, soothing environment but a little remote
Great service, personnel and atmosphere
10
conflicted feelings.
the intercontinental resort goes all out to provide a great atmosphere with outstanding rooms, service, informative personnel and several uniquely themed restaurants -- however, it is remote from jiutsaigou national park and the shopping, eating and nightlife that is outside its front gate.
it is good value for the money - just wishing it was a little closer in.
jiutsaigou national park is as good or better than advertised.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
jiutsaigou park: endure the crush of tourists, board the bus and ride at least part way up the right side. the boardwalk system is excellent and, by walking mostly down (some of the steps to ascend), one leaves most of the tourists behind and enjoys the beauty and solitude which abounds.

Great, but
Beautiful layout, big rooms
5.7
We were really looking forward to using the indoor pool during our stay since it is a big pool and a lovely area around it. However, when we inquired about using it, we were told that it was too cold. The indoor area was not cold. It would be great to indicate on the website when the pool will be available. We have children and they love to swim. It did influence our decision to go there and since there is not much else to do in the area, the hotel must be userfriendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is still a 30 minute drive to the national park.
