Located in the main city center, convenient for walking to shopping centre, and all street shops, 10 - 15 minutes taxi from Kunming airport. Late check out allowed up to 2pm. the best breakfast ever!
Air conditions so hot!; (centenlized temperature control spot, you cannot change the degree). TV is not stable for all channels. (or may be other room is better but not mine)
I have stayed at Kunming Hotel for 3 nights and I really enjoyed staying there for my business trip. Their staff are very nice and speak good english. Its location is surrounding by street shops and nearby shopping centre, you will find good delective foods around you. In front of the hotel is the walk way area where you can connect with Banks, shopping malls and closed by the river and gardens. Please do not ask anything with local if you are not speaking Chinese, or if you do not make sure that they can speak english with you; they will never speak english with you; repeated "Never!" Foods, cloths and other products saleable there are very affordable price, they are not too expensive at all; you will be really enjoy shopping there. Stay in Kunming Hotel is highly recommended for those who likely to stay in the centre heart of Kunming!
Shopping Tip : very close to alot of shopping Centres and street shop. Cheap delective local foods too.

Great. Everything good at Kunming hotel apart from few cons listed below.
Laundry very expensive, was unable to locate laundry nearby. Bathroom dated and airconditioning blasted at night.
