Great location Helpful staff

some rooms need refurbishment

On arrival we were given a room that needed refurbishment. I asked for a better room and had to pay a daily supplement to get it. Having said this, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is great for getting around the city.

full breakfast; internet in the room; swimming pool; Thai restaurant on 18th floor

in my room the water pressure of the shower was not great even I stayed only on the 10th floor.

Before this hotel was Holiday Inn. Like most international branded hotels taken over by local? management the service remains the same while the hardware (room furniture, painting works etc) is not well maintained. This was very well visible on the changing room/shower of the swimming pool. But for the price paid and for what you get this hotel is good value for money. Close to the city center (around 15 minutes on foot; 3 minutes by taxi) and not far from the green lake (45min on foot; 10-15 min by taxi). For my next visit I would choose this hotel again although I would ask for a room with sufficient water pressure.

Restaurant Tip : Thai Restaurant at the 18th floor has excellent Thai good for a good price!
