For information to get to the hotel turn right out of the bus station, ie. away from the Stone Forest Entrance. Then turn left at the junction and the hotel is on your right, this takes about 5 minutes. It is good that it is outside the forest itself as you can then use the variety of restaurants in town and visit the surrounding area to get away from the coachloads who arrive everyday. Don't let this put you off, it is easy to avoid the crowds by walking further, or visiting late afternoon. Get a membership for the Forest only 20Y more than a day ticket for unlimited access to the forest.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ask the Stone Forest reception to arrange a taxi for the day about 180Y to visit other attractions such as the Dadieshui Waterfall which is in a very rural and attractive area.
