I enjoyed staying the hotel very much. The room is very lovely and amazing with large space. The hotel located close to old town but very quiet. The facility is very comprehansive. The hotel bar is so beautiful that can view the mountain diretly. The swimming pool is standard and comfortable very much. I strongly recommend to stay this hotel that can provide you thorough relaxation.
Restaurant Tip:
room charge doesn't include breakfast, that is not so good.

Lovely hotel with space and unique decor

This hotel is quite new and in an excellent location. It is just next to the Old Town. This Old Town is the bigger one and quite busy. The room is quite big with a separate lounge area. The bed is extremely comfortable. The bath tub is seperated from the shower and toilet. There is even a BOSE speaker for non iphone user.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must try the sidecar trip when you visit Lijiang.

it is indeed a great hotel. everything is being arrange perfectly. customer service, cleaner and even the buggy boys are well trained.
one occasion, we asked for pick and call the hotel at 1am, the customer service quickly without any issue made the arrangement for pick up in the morning. they even called to confirm our arrival time. another occasion, we asked to buy performing dance tickets, and they gladly bought for us with any service fee. breakfast is excellent, my 4 years old daughter realy loved the hotel especially thru its back door is the lijiang old town.

Good hotel but heat didn't work!

We liked this hotel very much and thought our Superior Room was an excellent value for the money. However, the heat didn't work well! This was unacceptable in the Lijiang Winter, where at night it was below 0C / 32F. It made our stay unpleasant because we had to be bundled up and started shivering in the room. Otherwise, this hotel was very impressive and is in a good location for exploring the old town.

We liked the hot drink they serve in the lobby that changes every day. We had a good time. The rooms are nice and the service is fine. The only complaint we had was with room service. The food and the time it takes them to deliver were less than satisfactory! We ordered corn flakes and they managed to put all the cornflakes in the milk before it was served! So room for improvement. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Grand hotel behind Lijiang old town

Crowne Plaza Lijiang is located in the south east corner of Lijiang old town. It has a grand looking entrance but no chairs or sofas in the reception area, you will need to go to the cafe lounge if you need to wait for your room.
The check in was pretty efficient even though the lady was trying to convince me to pay for an upgrade, just to try out a more luxurious room.
The rooms are in separate buildings where there are 6 rooms to a block. There isn't any view as the rooms face each other, you will hear the air conditioner buzzing noise if you leave the window open.
There is a rear gate opening to a pathway to Lijiang old town. However, the walkways are extremely confusing without any signages, you will have to remember the shops to mark the way you come from.
Overall, the hotel is clean and it is everything we expected.
