Large, clean, spacious rooms. Good bathroom and shower. Good toiletries. Quiet

Air con in room did not work even after they 'fixed' it. Dinner buffet poor quality. Reception staff ignored my husband for 15 minutes when he tried to ask for help to post a letter. He went back later and got help.

Not bad but very hard bed and no air-con did not make for the best night's sleep. The bar was closed so we had to go the Holiday Inn for a drink. Breakfast at 50RMB was good value. However, the price reflected the quality.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Also, the hotel is close to the river and you can do a boat tour. 10 mins walk from metro is useful for getting to the train station

Good location close to old part of city Spacious, comfortable room Good bathroom

The decoration of room could be improved.

We only stayed one night at the Mandarin Garden Hotel but found the location ideal being close to an interesting part of the city. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. There was also a sofa and chairs provided. The bathroom was nice with a separate bath and shower and was very clean. The furniture seemed a little bit dated. Overall we were happy with the room.

Very nice room, very clean. The desk clerks very very nice to work with. They could speak English very well.

The western menue items were alittle strange. I was served a dish, I could not eat.

All in all, i would stay in this hotel again. It was in an area that was safe to walk around. There was shopping nearby, both local items and a mall across the street. It was near a major temple. Cabs were easy to get get. the hotel desk clears were happy to write the address we wanted in the local language, so that we could give it directly to the cab driver.

Should not be a 5 star hotel Guest Rating: 4.3

Relatively good location

-just about everything aside from the location.

This has to be the worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. The pool was dirty, the weight room was just as bad. The food wasn't that great either. The staff could have been much friendlier. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. It's right next to a lively are and there is a temple worth seeing around the corner.

Restaurant Tip : there is delicious street food to the right of the hotel.

it's pretty nice Guest Rating: 6.3

magnificent!

bad control of safeguard

It's not too expensive, but the breakfast is not as good as what i had imagined. The position is perfect, for it's close to the downtown area, Confucius Temple. Booking here can save me some money, and it's quite a budget. i will think about coming here again

Shopping Tip : just outside.

The room was spacious and very clean! Is pleased to have made it quite comfortable. It is right next to the hotel and tourist attraction ¼ ® °ッビクme please model was not so boring! It was convenient because it was a lot of places to eat rice!

Japanese is so impervious, where you need English or Chinese!

Was surprised by the beauty of the hotel! Room is very spacious than we expected, we are quite comfortable on our beautiful thing! Is happy! I was also with a bath tub was also equipped with amenities! Because people do not have the time right next to the tourist hotelsI can fully enjoy Nanjing. There was also close to shopping malls.困RIMASEN did so many food shops. Seems unusual in a young Japanese woman, but met considerable attention! ! Recommend MANDARINGADENHOTERU is pretty!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are attractions right next to the hotel was quite convenient. Walk 5 minutes at the ¼ ® °ッビクmodel please me also. Surrounding the hotel is a lot of fast food, Japanese food shop (but not Japanese food, there was a fried rice noodles and the flavors of Japan. The music I was on J-POP) was also.
