super quiet location, except.....

Seclusion and remotness

i was looking for an out-of-the-way hotel and this place exactly fit the bill! mingfa pearl was a fantastic hotel that offers the guest a five-star experience. super clean and very quiet except for the rowdy 'rafters' outside the window during the day. but, it was good to hear people having fun. the noise didn't bother me that much and was almost welcomed because otherwise the silence would have been an issue. the room was super clean and the grounds well kept. my stay was exactly what i wanted and was looking for and more than what i expected.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: this hotel was very remote and far from 'downtown.' watch out for crooked cab drivers. a cab ride to/from the hotel should be a little under 50 rmb. one cab driver that was called for me by the hotel, put his meter on when he started his drive to the hotel, his round about route (with freeway toll), got me in town for 85 rmb!!! way too much!! you can catch the bus across the street (#168) and get into town for 2 rmb. the hotel is remote and getting to/from could be an issue.
