Clean, nice aroma everywhere, good location. Nothing that I can think of. Very nice aroma in the hotel.
During my stay in this Hotel I smelled very nice aroma everywhere especially in the elevators and the corridors. The Hotel is very elegant and well furnished and decorated. The room is very comfortable with many kinds of pillows on the bed it makes you sleep very relax.
Shopping center is five minutes from the Hotel and about 15 minutes walking. Nice park near the hotel very good for walking and relaxing.

Nice rooms, helpful staff. Occasional slip ups with my name, no big deal. Nicely appointed rooms, decent bath and shower. Clean and well serviced. Enjoyed my stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : Full broadband at no cost, unlike the Ramada in Shanghai.

Service, facilities, clean The hotel is very nice. It's very impressive hotel. All staffs are kind and has full service minded. The room size is perfect and very clean. The quality of mattress and pillow are great and you could select the choices more if you need. The complimentary of hot milk is very great idea made me sleep so well along the night, even I checked in so late at mid night but I still felt fresh in morning. The breakfast is very nice, good quality of food and plenty of choices. I just stayed in the hotel only 7 hours at night but I was so happy and felt money spent was so valued.

Room Size, staff, new & modern, no wi-fi in room, night club doesn't seem to cater for foreigners !!! Staying at the Howard Johnson was surprisingly pleasant, for such a big hotel i couldn't believe how efficient & personal the service was, any request was attended to with utmost efficiency & a wide smile, i will stay there next time i am in Ningbo for sure. Location is convenient, with never more than a 2 minute wait for taxi.
Travel tip : There's a very good old sea food restaurant just a 3 min. cab away. (Ningbo Haishu Shipu seafood)

good service with good english speaking staff at front desk. Only stayed one night, but the buffet dinner was below standard for this hotel. Night stay at this hotel again, but would definitely eat elsewhere.

Room was big even the standard Room, Location also Good, Service is also Good Hard to get taxi at 3 ~ 4 pm I did not expect that the room was that big. Specially I was in Hongkong a few days ago. I felt so convenience, and Location also is very good. Close to the jogging area where there is a park. I do not remember the name. It's hard for me to remember Chinese Name. 1 thing that Howard J. needs to improve is Taxi Service. Because when I was there it's very hard to get taxi at 3 ~ 4 pm. Probably Howard J. needs to have some kind of contract with Taxi Company. But overall I would like to say I Like being in Howard J.

The hotel staff tries very hard to achieve a 5 star standard. 5 stars in Ningbo is different than 5 stars in Hong Kong. My rooms was on the club floor which made a big difference in the quality of our stay. The hotel staff worked hard to make our stay comfortable. Most of the staff we encountered did have some problems undestanding spoken English but they did try. I would stay here again for a weekend away.

Location, super professional staff, very good restaurant. This hotel is the best hotel in China I have stayed in the last few years.
The service is so professional and good which I never had before in China. The value for money here is more than good and also the restaurant in the hotel is excellent.
The facilities for recreation like the gym and swimming pool are also very good.
This hotel is really worth to recommend. I will definitely book this hotel again during my next business trip to China.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The very nice moonlake is just a three minutes walking distance from the hotel as well as one really original housing area of the old China. When you stroll through the small lane you will feel 100 years back.

This is a great place to stay in Ningbo. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly.
Shopping Tip : There is a great shopping mall a short walk away. Just ask the hotel.
