Splendid, caring, detailed service - the room was wonderful although the new wing is much more up-to-date, all the staff spoke some English, excellent room service
carpet in some areas of the older section was stained - rooms in the older wing are small and plain
I had a wonderful stay here - the staff were so helpful and genuinely concerned about me. A real holiday staying here.
Hotel Feature Tip : A wonderful spa

nice room good location Staff in incredible and I mean incredible
food is a little on the expensive site but at least they do there best for both western and eastern travellers Don't have the onion soup and if looking for a real ruban sandwich this is not the place but the da venci Italian was great especially the caprese where they fly in real buffalo mozzerella cheese from Itialy
want to lose your passport do it here. had the entire staff of at least 20 people from the General manager on down to help with police always had 2 people from staff when accompaning me to translate and give moral support. Can't say enough about the help and they really care about you. They even have an American woman
Katie which is nice for us people that don't speak Chinese and Vivi is also great young woman who cares. the general Manager Gary Biondi is also great - as is Sydney and Anny of the front desk crew. All in all making a horrible experience worth going through - just to see how a hotel can be when a traveller has a problem. Hope you never have the same problem but if it has to be anywhere do it here.
Nightlife Tip : old jack's bar across the street from the crown plaza. Local bar for ex pats. comfortable with fairly priced drinks and you can speak with just about anyone. New York bar upstairs can really swing is only a few blocks away
| it is not the Shangri la on the island in Hong Kon |

great English speaking staff that really wants to help.
wonderful plant
great buffet any meal
noise from the hall. 2 people speak and if you understand the language you understand what they are saying.
Chair behind desk in room falls backwards not balanced properly
People from the states should not order the Ruban sandwich the chef never learned how to make it properly.
Still the best chain I have ever been to. but a little bit on the pricey side if you are used to other locations. But the great staff really make up for the shortcoming and you know you are staying at a quality establishment. saying this I booked through Agoda and was probably given the most in expensive room in the house. but seeing as it is half price through agoda well worth it. I would not recomend the hotel at a higher price though.
had a small problem nothing serious. about a 1/2 hour later got 2 beers sent up courtsy of management -- now this is class act.
when comparing this to the Shangra la in Hong kong does not even come close but they do there best and you are always well treated.
