Close to the beach, good pool area. 5.3 Interior of hotel is bland; furnishing very poor; children's playroom has nothing in it; breakfast is horrible. However, the hotel is close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants; thus fairly convenient overall. Would suggest upgrading the furnishings in the room and improve breakfast options. Not too bad an option for mid-range to budget travelers. Not a good value during peak holiday season.

Couples Belgium, September 20, 2012	Good location but misunderstand within services Good location, good service 7.3 This is the 4th time that we stayed in Golden Palm Resort, unfortunatelly I was unhappy this time. I called 3 times to the reception and Room service reservation 2 days before our stay in order to inform them, if it's possible to manage 2 rooms together, because my parents in law don't spreak neither Chinese nor English, it's better to put us together, the Room service reservation confirmed me twice. When we arrived around 23h30, the receptionlist told us that they didn't receive any info from the Room service reservation, she tried to help us to manage 2 rooms together, but her responsible told us that we can not get these 2 rooms which his colleague managed for us. I really think there's a communication problem within their services.
