The hotel has a highly convenient location. Located right in the city center, the hotel is within 30 minutes public transportation from the Sanya International Airport, and within 10 minutes of walking distance to most bus terminals in the city. The hotel is also in close proximity to the major attractions in Sanya, like the Sanya Walking Street and various shopping centers. The hotel looks a bit old and the lobby is a bit dark like most other businesses in China. Moreover, it doesn't seem there is AC in the lobby and we felt hot during check-in and check-out. Per our request placed earlier, the hotel gave us early check-in and that was a big plus. However, the hotel did not offer a room with mattress as we requested (we are not sure if one is available). We booked a room with triple bed and it is pretty spacious and reasonably clean. The bathroom contains a shower cabin and we think they could have allocated more space to the bathroom given the large space available in the main room (we actually prefer a bathtub). A cloth stand is available in the room. The closet has a strange smell. Service is good, staff is courteous and they helped us to store our luggage for free after check-out. What bothered us most is the Internet connection. They are supposed to offer complementary WiFi access but it was not working in my room. However, they did fix it within an hour after my complaint was made. The connection speed was still slow and all Internet connections are censored which means Facebook will not be available unless you have a workaround. In fact, even the PC in the lobby is slow. The beds are comfortable with nice AC and the place is quiet. Breakfast was available until 9:30am with a discount (at RMB18 per person for hotel guests). We did not try it but it should be a good value of money (given that an average meal in nearby areas costs around RMB30). We enjoyed the place overall.
