The pools are nice, serene environment and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
The only thing is the airport is behind the hotel, and it is a bit noisy and disturbing.
Our experience at the hotel is fantastic. The beautiful view of the beach is enthralling. The staff at the hotel are polite and friendly. However, the location is quite far away from downtown, and therefore looking for food to fill our stomach was quite a troublesome and time consuming experience. Overall, we are happy with our choice, choosing Holiday Inn as our stay in Sanya.

Conveniently located near to Sanya airport
the mattress is really hard!
I was asked to pay RMB500 as deposit when I check-in and I have used my American Express card to do so. When I check out, I was told that it will take at least one week for the RMB 500 to be released. If this is the case, the receptionist should have reminded me when I pay with my AE card. Otherwise, I would have paid cash instead.

Nice room, and facilities.
Beach not very impressive. Noisy in the hotel at nights.
We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel the staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was a bit boring with no real variety on the buffet. Chinese restaurant was average not a great deal of selection. Pool and facilities were very good. My only real complaint was the hotel was very noisy at night time .
