Known for its views of the Tai mountains, this is a good choice if you are planning on hiking the mountain. The hotel has decent food and offers both western cuisine and Chinese favorites, but not much more than the standards. Many websites say there is a pool but the property does not have a pool. Renovation has been done but not to every room on every floor. Rooms have the standard TV and satellite and bathroom with decent toiletries. There are many choices about 30 minutes away that are perhaps nicer, but this one is good for its location near the tourist areas and if you want to hike the mountains.
