extremely bad location, difficult to find, building works occurring at time of visit, weird smell from air con unit. This hotel was very hard to find and was very far out from the city and all the tourist sites, and was not within walking distance of the metro.
There was also building works at the time when we stayed, and the air conditioning had a very strange smell.
however, when we complained about our room, we were promptly changed to a better room. the staff at reception were helpful too, giving advice about shanghai.

No sight seeing places around the hotel Reception quite helpful. Service satisfaction level. Food needs to be improved further.

Clean rooms, Descent size and good value for money No staff speaks english, terrible breakfast and no food service. Harmony Inn hotel is a decent place to say for the price you are paying in Shanghai. You can expect clean rooms of decent size and free internet in each and every room. None of the staff speak any English thus making it very difficult to communicate. The food service is bad with no options.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is close to the city and takes about 25 RMb by taxi to get to Shanghai World Financial Center. Also the bus stop is right opposite to the hotel and you can take bus no. 87 to get to city for 2 RMb.

The average Chinese citizen living nearby with their appearance can feel without filtration. Getting to the airport is too hard to get out. Hotel staff were very friendly. English is not the problem, but continue to speak English through the English-speaking staff calls. China is eating breakfast menu, and ordinary people were to eat only.
