A beautiful hotel with long history

Astor is a nice place to stay. We family stay there for 3 days. And we want to have more time to be here for the next time. The breakfast is good and it is much easier to walk to Nanjing Road--the shopping center.

We enjoyed our five night stay at this historically significant hotel. The location is excellent, the room was large and the buffet breakfast (not included but reasonably priced)in the original ballroom had good variety. Staff were friendly and helpful, organising transport for tours and airport departure and we were allowed to stay in our rooms after official checkout time. Our only negatives would be that wireless access in our room was not available and in the lobby was very erratic and that the windows of our ground floor room were 50 cm from a blank wall.
