Lovely hotel but quite hidden
Close to the Bund and Nanjing street
The room has a good size (I stayed at twin bed deluxe room). The hotel is close to the Bund which is the main tourist spot and also the shopping street, Nanjing Lu. There are some mini markets and restaurants around so it was easy to buy mineral water and other stuff. However, the hotel is a bit hidden. There is a gate at the front and you have to walk around 20 metres to reach the lobby. There is a free wifi internet, but it can't be accessed from the room. I had to stand on the corridor or lobby to get internet access. Some of the receptionists can't speak English! So make sure u have a translator or speak basic Mandarin. But overall good hotel for its price.

Close to shopping center
Very close to some tourist attractions like the bund and People's square
The good thing is the hotel is located at the center of major shopping district. The cons is the bed is quite hard and quite a simple setting within the room. Anyway, if you want to look for budgent acommodation, that is not a bad choice.

Decent location and okay rooms
Room was nicely decorated and huge bed
Hotel gave us a double room at first and we asked to be moved to a king because of the pictures shown. We got moved to a nicely decorated room with huge bed but it had no window. We could hear 24/7 water running the floor above us which was really annoying at first but we got use to it. 10-15 mins walk to mrt and 5 mins walk to the bund

Nice friendly staff good location
Close to the Pearl Tower, walking distance to Yu Garden, cornershops close by
enjoyed the central location, 3 minutes walk to the view of the Pearl tower etc. Handy corner shops to buy milk, snacks, soup. Cheap couple of restaurants near by. Staff very friendly and English ok. They do not do hotel transfers contrary to the website comment. Room was cold (January winter time) but airco on hot made it ok.

Quiet Hotel with good location
Quiet
Is a quiet hotel at a good location. Near to Nanjing East road and the Bund. Cheap and value for money. Suitable for sightseeing trips. Nice toilet with bath tub and spacious room if king size. Nice food and cova coffee nearby. Very near to the bund (Wai Tan) oversee nice view of Pudong.

Great location ...unfriendly staff
Great location to the bund and Pudong.. Perfect really.
Rooms good size, bathroom great. Inconsistent cleaning over the four days we were there, reception staff not really helpful or happy. Perfect for location and price for a travelling family was perfect with a great restaurant across the road called grandma,s kitchens.

Decent hotel
Good & Convenient location
hotel is tucked away hidden inside a lane. if not for their lit sign, the taxi driver would have missed. hotel building is completely surrounded by taller buildings on all 4 sides except for the access lane. if you are claustrophobic, this is not the hotel for you. although my room had windows, they face other rooms' window. you will not get any open view as it is merely a 5 storey building, therefore, changing to higher floor is not going to help. room is decent, not huge but good size. bed is nice & firm. bathroom is big with tub. toiletries are regular cheap china hotel stuff. front office staff are many young clerks that speak little english. when approached to ask for which subway station to take to a certain location, i was taken aback when he declared he did not know & told me to check with the subway station staff. i did not expect such response from a purported 4-star hotel. he could have simply checked online (in chinese) & advise. this is a good 3-starred, but certaily did not feel nor looked 4-starred. for it's price, it's ok & acceptable, however, there are many others upcoming hotels that offers better deals. wifi & lan connection is good, able to work with acceptable lag in speed. the nearest subway station is a good 15 minutes walk to nanjing road. there are many 24/7 convenient stores around & load of eateries within walking distance. it's about 20-30 minutes walk to the infamous qipu lu shopping malls. for upmarket & branded shopping, nanjing lu is 15-20 minues walk away.
