This hotel is quite good, especially for room facilities. The price is quite cheap and hotel staffs are friendly. Although it is quite far from shopping centre and business area, only 4 bus stops to subway and go anywhere else. Overall, I recommend this hotel and you will find that this hotel is worthwhile for your money.

I found this hotel in the agoda website and it was a bit discount and close to the expo center so I decided to book, there was nothing around the hotel but you can get to the metro station only 3 mins and also to the Maglev train to the airport. The bellman and staff is very helpful. The room is clean and the hotel is big and good. The restaurant buffet is very good, had many food for you to choose. If you have to go to the new exhibition center I would reccommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Don't forget to print the hotel map out in Chinese so you can give to the taxi driver, The full name of the hotel is Blue horizon royal parklane international hotel.
The hotel location, it's near the metro and the Maglev (train to Pudong Airport: only 8 min. The hotel is big almost like 4star and a half hotel.
There was no shopping area near the hotel and the only way to get around is by taxi but it's only 3 min to the metro staion and Maglev train.

The hotel is within easy reach of downtown Shanghai via the underground system. It would be very helpful if the hotel had a brouchure which told in detail how to get to, and return from, the local underground station. Otherwise the service and faciities of the hotel are excellent.
Staff very friendly, efficient and food arrangement.
Did not have a free handout tourist map of Shanghai as Sofitel has. A taxi ride to/from Meglev or underground is required. For non-Mandarin speakers charges are highly variable.
