The room was very clean and well kept, but the greatest thing about the hotel was the location. It was only a 10 minute walk/jog to the bund, and right across the street from Nanjing Rd. Staff members were accomodating and English level was acceptable overall. I was a bit disappointed with the gym, but the gym still had most of the work out equipments needed for a quick work out.

The central location of the hotel was great for sightseeing and transportation...I would definitely recommend staying in central Shanghai over the Pudong which can be rather boring. The hotel offered all the amenities of a major luxury brand with a distinctly local style that distinguishes it from being just another instance of a global luxury chain hotel.

Smoking rooms available. 7.7 It can be considered as good experience compared to other Shanghai hotels I've stayed. Though the breakfast is not perfect but still acceptable. The location of the hotel makes it easy to walk around and there is a park nearby, plus many shopping centers around if you need to find some stuff or souvenir. The cost might be a little high, but breakfast is optional.
