Good hotel, great location
Great location, middle of Nanjing walking street, close access to all attractions, unless its raining !!!

Nice hotel. Rooms ok and staff very helpful. Close to Peoples square metro and access to anywhere from there. Too far to walk in the rain though but fine if its clear. Beds were a little hard. Good range of food at breakfast bar but lots of eating options nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go the the Shanghai museum and get the audio tour, its awesome

First of all, bed room and bathroom were large and clean.
But a restaurant on the 4th floor was bad. I couldn't find delicious food at all.

It is the right spot in town!

This hotel is such a pretty good location for shopping if you finish taking photo at the Bund in the evening then walk to Nanjing shopping street at this distance, you will find the end of the walking street a good restaurant and just a short walk for a bit exercise before reach the hotel. The only weak point is "no coffee" in the room.

we had a good stay at charms hotel. though its an old hotel amenities were complete. there were toiletries, blow dryer, sheets were changed everyday and there was hot water. the location is ver good. jiujiang is parallel to east nanjing road, and very near to all the local tourist spots. you can take taxi to xintiandie and old shanghai. its about 5 minutes ride and cost 15 yuan.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try to go visit Qibao. It is accessible by subway.

The location of this hotel is best suited for tourist travellers. Nanjing road east just 2 minutes away from the front gate ( go through a small lane but safe ), in back and surround this hotel are heap of restaurants and KFC too,
Rooms are a bit smaller but comfortable, breakfast in the restaurant was OK but same stuffs every day during our stay.
All the trouble are in the bath room, stay in 5 nights, toilet blocked 4 time need fix , and after they told us “not put toilet paper in the toilet” . Hot water in the shower is not enough pressure to keep water stabilizing ,so during showering you need more carefully to get ready jump out of shower, because water always change between boiled or deadly cold.
TV channels had most only Chinese programs.
Free internet at room, but a bit slow and no wifi at room
Overall the service was very satisfactory , and I thought this is only a 3 star hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Big Bus Tour service is very near to the hotel site, they had 3 line to take the tourists all around Shanghai , the starting point just 5 minutes next to the hotel in the People’s Park Metro exit

Room comes with heater, make the room comfortable and cosy to stay during the winter time. 5 minutes walk to Nanjing Pedestrian Street and Metro. Convenience to take any bus or cab in front of the hotel. Excellent customer services. Will stay again in the future.
Shopping Tip:
At the back of the hotel got a big cell phones shopping center with attractive prices.
