Great Locations, Clean and nice rooms
7.7
The hotel have great location and for the price charged, there is no complain. Very clean too. Also convenient access to food, railway and MRT station. Only 2 mins walk to Nanjing Street and 7 mins walk to the Bund. Highly recommended. I would stay in the same hotel in my future trips.
Travel tip:
The main tourist attractions (Bund, Nanjing Road) and restaurants are within walking distance.

Near metro, shopping area and lots of food shops

it locates on main shopping area of shanghai. you can hear public annoucement to wake you up every morning. even room is quite small but it clean enough and they provide microwave oven also. you can walk for 5 minutes to "people square" metro station or 10 minutes to "east nanjing road" metro station. easy to catch taxi from this area.

Good Price but small Rooms
7.7
have used this hotel several times now. worth paying the extra for a deluxe room , but must ensure to request 30sqm size with bathtub with view towards the bund. otherwise allocated very small room with shower only.
very few of the staff speak any english, but generally as the asst manager was very helpful, with a reasonable understanding of english, this was an excellent hotel for the price.

Centrally situated Hotel
This hotel is close to the Metro to other parts of Shanghai.
4.3
The rooms are variable, my first room smelled of drains and the safe did not work. My room was changed to a De Luxe room on a high floor with a good city view. This hotel caters for local Chinese guests and the staff do not speak English. The mattresses are very hard
Shopping Tip:
Have yur clothes copied in the South Bund Fabric Market. Cashmere Coats £90 and tailormade shirts £12.

Near people's square, services not so good but ok
The best thing is it's location, you can walk around nearby till you drop
6.7
the best thing in the building is the bedroom because it has been renovated and redecorated and it is clean, but outside and the reception a little bit old.
anyway staying here is quite convenient to find eating place and shopping.

Great Location for you shoppers.

the staff seemed nice. subway is close and easy to use.
Travel tip:
watch out for hawkers that want to take you to their shops. i could not walk 10ft on nanjing road without some friendly girl trying to talk with me to go to tea shop. luckily i had read before about this.
