Good central location, older hotel, small room
Great location near Nanjing Road & metro, good breakfast

We stayed a number of nights and spent all of the day out of the hotel, so the older, small sized room was not a bother. Our stay was in a Shanghai winter and we found the room very cold. Upon arrival the room was at 13C and the bathroom even colder. We tried turning the airconditioning to warmer but that did not bring up the temperature adequately. The bathroom stayed bitterly cold.
The location was excellent, with easy access to the Metro, the Nanjing pedestrian street and the Bund.
The buffet breakfast was also excellent providing ample variety of food.
For the price, this hotel is well worth the stay but bring your bedsocks in winter.

Near English Bookstores, Eateries, Metro Station, and The Bund

it was a decent 2 nights stay. the reception is average, business centre seems disorganized - i had to describe the contents of the package meant for my room before the staff knew where is the package. the hotel room was clean, facilities are serviceable, although the heater wasn't warm enough. free wired internet connection is provided, but the speed is a little slow. value for money hotel.

the location of the hotel is super, one minute from pagoda centre and all shops and restaurants.
also near are the metro and bus station.
they have internet on the rooms but the rooms must be more clean and are really small for 2 people.
the hotel stuff try for the best but want more.
also there is a tourist office into hotel.

Great location but small room.

the hotel is just a block away from the nanjing road shopping street which is really perfect for my partner who loves shopping. room is clean but very small. views from the windows are mostly blocked by higher buildings.

The room was small and heater was not hot enough. The hotel was very close to Nanjing Road. and for those who love shopping, this is the hotel i would recommend if you don't mind the small space of the room.

The room given to us was rather small for the 1st 3 nights that we stayed. We stayed for another after night returning from Suzhou, and the room was so much better (though it is still small). Nonetheless, the hotel is centrally located, and easy to get around. Food, cafe, shopping, convenient stall, foot massage etc, there are plenty around, all within walking distance. Overall a decent hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, try to catch the double decker city sightseeing bus, an excellent way to get around & see Shanghai, especially those tourist spots. The ticket is valid for 24 hour, which you can maximize the ticket until the next day

overall it is value for money. although the room is relatively small but the location of the hotel with easy accessible to subway station and good restaurants make up the shortfall of the small room.

Overall it is value for money.
The hotel is in side the housing estate within the apartment area and the room is very small.
The location is not good for tourist but however it could be access to food stall and mini market.
There are a Cotton Market where you can get some clothes, winter clothes, and may get a good bargain in the area.
