The Days Hotel Dhanghai is a very nice hotel
The area surrounding the hotel is rough.
I found the Days Hotel in Shanghai to be a fine hotel. Breakfast in the Days Cafe buffet was very good. I dined at the Lobby Bar and had good food---but not Chinese food. Like many areas at, or near, a train station, this is a very tough neighborhood. There is also surrounding the hotel, completely construction. I understand that this is due to a new subway line being built, but emits copious amounts of dirt and noise. I found the staff to be most courteous and understanding, but with only a modicum of the comprehension of the English language. Overall, a very nice hotel in a rough area.
