Clean, Quiet, Helpful staff and very convenient. Almost no. The windows are dirty, the sewer smells. This hotel is very clean and quiet. The staffs are very polite and helpful. We had several different requests at different time, and all our needs or problems were solved in a timely manner. #2 subway station is located at the same building, it's definitely the best option.
As other guests mentioned, the bathroom smells bad. But I figured, it happened on the street or other places, so probably the sewer system in Shanghai needs to be fixed.
Overall, it's a very nice hotel, we were happy to get what we have paid for. We will definitely come back and introduce more friends to this hotel.
Shopping Tip : There are several shopping malls around area. Also just one block away there are a lot of local restaurants.

cost
location - right next to two shopping centres and a metro stations
size of rooms a little rough, but what do you expect for the cost. stayed here for four days over a long weekend, very good value, great location. you get what you pay for.
dont expect too much english though. couldnt get the A/C to work in spring, but still managed to organise an iron and ironing board.
Restaurant Tip : right around the corner on Zhuyi st (?) is a shopping mall with a 24hr mc donalds, few restaurants, coffee house and one of the two hooters in Shanghai!

Cheap for Shanghai! Laundry service, next to some shopping and MTR which is key to getting around Shanghai. Self catering kitchen. Not a four star hotel, not a great deal of service, hence the price. If you're only in Shanghai for one or two days and on a cheap budget, stay here. If you're meeting business clients pay more money for a proper hotel as these are just service apartments, although you can get almost all you need - laundry, wifi etc. There is a kitchen but nothing to cook with! Not a good location - you need to take the MTR or taxis everywhere...I was satisfied with the stay as it was only one night but I would book a better hotel next time as I'm a business traveler and you couldn't meet clients here unless you want them to think business is bad!
