Rooms are nice, large and clean. The beds are comfy. The staff is pretty indifferent, but this isn't uncommon in Chinese hotels. Major drawback is no Wifi. There's a LAN line connection, but this isn't helpful if you are only carrying a phone or iPad. That being said, there are a number of restaurants in the area that have Wifi. We've never tried the breakfast.

My stay was very pleasant with friendly & eager-to-please staff, good breakfasts, comfortable room, reliable internet, prompt laundry and other services. I visit Shanghai a lot and will come here if practical in the future because of the comfort, service and central location in the prettiest blocks of the French Concession near many of my favorite after-business destinations.

We like this hotel because of its good location and beautiful garden. The surround ing is. Very much ,shanghai style, elegant and morden. The room is clean and the staff is helpful, if there is Wifi in the room, that will be more comnvient for us. If you are driving a car in Shanghai, this hotel will be a good choice because there are plenty parking lots .also if the hotel will improve their breakfast quality, that will make everything perfect!

Fenyang Garden Boutique Hotel is conveniently located at the CBD area and you can easily find shopping places, restaurants, bars and etc. 2 mins walk to the Huaihai Middle Road will access you to a long stretch of shops and business buildings. It is also very accessible to many other places in Shanghai and you can conveniently get a taxi within this area. The hotel room is spacious. This hotel were refurbished from a bungalow style building and the new renovation is tastefully done with excellent customer service. You don't feel like staying in a very commercial hotel, but you will find yourself in a cozy and quiet surrounding which make you feel peaceful and relaxed.

I've stayed here before when visiting Shanghai, the rooms are a good size and always very clean. The staff are helpful and I will use the hotel again. A bath would be nice as would a choice of english speaking TV channels.
Restaurant Tip:
This is hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine.
