no restaurant!!! no slippers, no bathrobes, toilet took 15mins to fill and flush, dark bathroom, strange glass wall to bathroom so could sit on toilet and be seen in room
This place was in the middle of nowhere - fine for me as on a conference nearby so locale was handy. Otherwise 30 mins taxi into Shanghai and no metro nearby. The restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evenings!!! So only cold buffet style breakfast available. Restaurants near were only open between 4- 8pm so not very convenient.

I personally liked the location. It is located next to one of the canals at the outer of edge of PuDong. We saw a barge "train" (20 connected barges beiing pulled by one boat" through the narrow canal. It was a cool experience.
The location is in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go shopping, sightseeing or even eat you must catch a taxi. One of the few bright spots of this hotel was the concierge and the bell staff who, even though they spoke no English, were very helpful.
The staff spoke very little English. While most hotels have a free or inexpensive area map the only map this hotel had was the "Official Shanghai Tourist Map" which they sold to us for twice the price listed on the back of the map. The breakfast buffet was not very good. Our room was detached from the main hotel and we had to walk through the underground garage, with leaky pipes all around, in order to go from the lobby to our building. The only food that was available in the evening was that being sold by the street vendors
Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure your taxi driver knows how to get there on the major highways. Otherwise you'll be driving through rural China in the dark.

Good interior, clean, the staff can speak English, and a strategic location.
the lobby bar is very expansive - one mineral water - 6 USD.
the good things are more than the bad things. I will come back in this hotel next time.

Hotel comfortable enough to live, good interior, not congested as many of the existing in China. Very comfortable rooms, even much more cozy than in the higher class hotels, as confirmed in practice.
It is very disadvantageous position, is very far from the city centre, and indeed of all that is available in Shanghai. If you chose to save your money in choosing this hotel, in any case, all you spend on the road. The hotel is located far enough from the nearest subway station. The staff of the hotel almost does not speak English, though quite friendly to address some issues have to wait a while until they find English-speaking staff. Breakfast, quite modest and simple, but it is only the first day of your arrival. On the second day you live and visit Shanghai restaurants, you'll never be able to visit the hotel restaurant. If there is a possibility, it is best to abandon breakfast.
Having carefully considered the card of your stay in Shanghai, and choose this hotel, if your vizitt in osnovonom focused on the area cities.
A nice budget hotel. At the decoration of rooms and quality of care, may even one of the best.
You should take care to take the place of your stay in Shanghai. The hotel is located far from the center. The evening you do not have to walk on foot along the street, because the area is gryaznovaty.
Serving at the hotel level, staff does not speak the truth in English, while very welcome and tries to help you every way.
I would advise people to stay this hotel in Shanghai for the exhibition, the benefit expo center is located near the hotel. Just a good occasion for vyyuora this hotel is the price, perhaps this is one of the main factors.
