Have stayed they many times and the rooms are big and comfortable. Staff are friendly and well trained. It's near to the subway station and lots of food around the area.

This is my 2nd business trip to Shanghai and I choose to stay in same hotel due to the convenience and also the whole environment of the hotel, i.e. comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Will go back again if there is a chance.

For the price a bargain .Upgraded for another $100 to access better room ,breakfast , free cocktail , etc ,etc. Probably not worth it as King size fine. Bathroom with a decent bath . Luxury hotel , attentive staff, internet slow in room , but thats nothing unusual in China. Access in lounge and business lounge area fine.
Well located , go to "El Willy's "for dinner on the Bund.The whole building restaruants and the roof top Mumm bar , all under the Chinese flag. Very hedonistic .
Definately would stay here again . Breakfast limited , but high standard . Dont bother with the high speed from airport , if you want to save money, but to travel 430 kmh fun. Beware the "taxi service " booths at train station , just get a cab with meter from the rank .Have hotel destination written out in Chinese for them and you will save confusion .

This is my 3rd stay in Grand Central. I booked for a Deluxe Room but the size of the room seems smaller than the past two times. All other things are good and I will come back again. Hope that next time they can arrange the room I want for me.

The hotel charged my credit card by mistake and shockingly, I did not even receive a word of apology. The members of staff were pretty cold, unfriendly (with the exception of one or two)and unwelcoming.
