Lovely hotel, very comfortable room
Western and Chinese food easily available within hotel, very near railway station, easy access to taxis

This is great hotel downtown. The room were clean and well maintained. Only drawback was the food in the lounge was the same everyday. Easy access to get taxis and walking distance to the railway station and underground. McDonalds, KFC, Watsons all within walking distance. Great hotel.

Great location for train service, spotless.

i needed to catch an early morning train and this hotel is just 200 mtrs. from the station. i arrived after the restaurants closed, but in room dining was excellent, with food arriving in 15 minutes. room was average size but well appointed. overall above expectations.
Travel tip:
Well worth a visit if you need to catch an early train.

hotel provide very good breakfast, and hotel room is big and clean. if next time they have a nice promotion again, i will stay again in the room. hope they always have such promotion so that i no need to look for other hotels. :)
only one bad point, the front counter staff is not provide very good service, a bit attitude.
Location is very good also. near by railway station, 3 mins walk. just nearby no nice food.

Good location and a good hotel

This hotel is very situated for travellers,h across from the main railway station, next to Metro line one and the Pudong Airport bus stop.
The executive suite was very pleasant although figuring out the light switches requires a PhD!
Remote controlled curtains was a cool feature.

A very affordable luxury hotel

We stayed in an Executive Kingsize on a package with breakfast included. The breakfast was very good and quite large and the staff were very attentive. The room was huge and I found the desk facilities great for getting some work done out of the office. The location is good, near the main train station, so it is very easy to get around on the metro. Taxis are incredibly cheap in Shanghai - on average US$2-3 for trips to any of the major sites in central Shanghai from the hotel. We used them frequently and found it much easier to get dropped directly at the sites we weere visiting. All in all, a great stay in a great city.

Good value for money

the location is great - about a half-hour walk to most of the sights, which takes you though some really interesting parts of shanghai that you might not otherwise see. it's also right next to shanghai station if you can't face the walk. the room was great - very comfortable and quiet. my only complaint is the '24 hour' restaurant; my wife and i pitched up there at about half two in the afternoon, and they were clearly not expecting customers! no staff around, and a complete racket coming from the kitchen (i think they were watching some kind of gameshow). the food wasn't very good either - if you're not desperate to eat as soon as you arrive (as we were) i suggest avoiding it!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shanghai is an amazing place to just walk around, but make sure you grab a sightseeing map otherwise you'll never find anything! The arty area of Tianzifang is well worth a visit.

it is the best hotel i've ever stay in china. room is huge, clean and very comfortable. request the room that not facing the train station, otherwise you will hear announcement and music all night long.
