Can't beat the location.
The location is excellent. We were staying in shanghai awaiting the arrival of family at pudong airport. Easy to catch the metro from here, plus then for sightseeing.

Brilliant location for public transport
So close to the shanghai railway station and metro, plus rooms very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here when meeting our family off the plane very early in morning. Location made this not a problem to get to airport and back. I requested their room be close to ours and staff kindly met this request. Hotel very nice and staff will help when they can. Only negative is no wifi in the rooms.

Great hotel

Excellent n value for money. Very spacious toilet. Lots of food nearby the hotel. Mini mart and a big departmental store too.

beautiful hotel
very lovely hotel with great service (especially if you have an executive suite)

we had a wonderful time and were treated very well. this is probably because we had an executive suite and had executive floor privileges - but the hotel is quite lovely, in a great location, and we enjoyed our stay greatly.
Hotel Feature Tip:
if you can book the executive suite (which is affordable if the hotel is having a discount - we got a great price for our amazing room), do so. we did, and were treated royally.

Convenient Hotel Location but noisy

Hotel location, amenities and service was great given the price to value ratio but felt that one has to ask for a high floor if possible. stayed on the 25th floor and still awoken at 7AM by the traffic noises below.
Hotel Feature Tip:
go for the highest floor with executive lounge benefits if possible

Excellent Suite with affordable price.
Good location as the Metro is right below. 1 min walk to Metro (Shanghai Railway Station Stop)

We stayed in an Executive Suite for 3 days (+2days).Great for family with children. Huge bathroom, big comfortable bed and spacious living room c/w free wi-fi. Complimentary snacks, beer and coffee at Club Lounge Level 27 from 5.30pm-7.30pm. Metro (subway)is just below the hotel, very convenient to travel to all parts of shanghai (Peoples's Square & Nanjing East Road - 3 stops). The hotel staff are helpful and Concierge helpful with a smile. We booked another 2 more days after a 2 days trip back from Hangzhou. I will be glad to stay there when Im in Shanghai again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Breakfast on the 5th floor is much better compared to the Executive Club Floor.
Hi-speed train (1 hour) to Hangzhou from Hongqiao railway station (40 mins by Metro (subway).
Hi-speed train to Suzhou from Shanghai railway station (opposite the hoteL0.

Hotel at a convenient location

traveled with family with kids. hotel location was convenient with plenty of eateries, fast food joints and shopping malls nearby but extremely noisy from traffic noises even at very high floor of hotel. service was good. but repeated requests for a bucket of ice to reduce the swelling of my son's sprained ankle never arrived.

Ask for as high floor as possible.

Lovely Hotel with Excellent Location.
Convenient location next to the Shanghai Metro/Railway station

We booked an Executive Suite, which comes with a huge bathroom, wi-fi and complimentary tea from 5.30pm-7.30pm at the Club floor. The room was cosy and spacious, with a feel of luxury. We were absolutely happy with the hotel and its great location, and we were able to travel everywhere, from Nanjing Road, the Bund, to Hangzhou as the Shanghai Metro and Railway Station is practically a stone throw away. The hotel staff recommended and helped arrange a day tour for us to Suzhou. We will be happy to stay there again when we next visit Shanghai.
Restaurant Tip:
A number of eateries, like KFC, MacDonalds, Ajisan Raman, as well as some local restaurants are within 2 min walk from the hotel. There are also a reasonably priced Korean and Italian restaurant located in the basement of Pacific Plaza, opposite the hotel.

Helpful and efficent hotel staff
Location is not so convinient. Has to change MRT line.

The room is super. It has most of the facility required.
The price is reasonable for 5 star hotel.
