I would highly recommend visitors to Shanghai who have a limited budget but still want to stay at a relatively convenient location - it's really close to shopping, tourist sights and good local food (Huanghe Road), as well as access to public transport.

Stayed there 4 nights and everyone of the breakfasts were ice cold. When I mentioned this to the staff they looked at me like I was kind of crazy . It's not hard you know, just burn some sterno under each container.

full ketch with cooking and dining facilities, near Nanjing shopping street and all restaurants

The hotel is quite close to Nanjing shopping street and all restaurants.
A 24-hour open grocery store is right at the street corner.
The ketch is equipped with all cooking and dining facilities. Great advantage!
The one-bed room has a lovely balcony.
Windows are fully open to busy streets, would be better if not too noisy.
Breakfast is tasty.
It would be better if the TV is set in the bed room and in the living room.
It would be better if to separate the smoking floors from the no-smoking floors.
I will absolutely stay in this hotel during my next trips.

the 17th floor where I stayed is definitely the best floor, with lots of light and a view with a good balcony

This was a convenient place for me, but if I had stayed on one of the other floors I think I would have moved. The 17th was pleasant, light and airy due to the big balcony and lots of light. The other floors, which I almost checked into were dark and a little miserable.
