Hotel situated in a nice area with shops and restaurents in walking distance We visited the Japanese Restaurant, yhis was for sure not a pleasant experience Hotel seems to be renovated not very long time ago. I had a room at the executive floor and room was spacious and clean. Bathroom ok, but bathtube was very small( made for chinese people)Not suitable for scandinavians. Minibar were not refilled during my stay.Friendly staff.All together I had a nice stay

Hotel:
The hotel is a refurbished 1900's building, with a nice classical decor. Rooms were large with good amenities.
Location:
Conveniently located close to Hengshan road, bar district, and walkable distance to Shujiahui, shopping district. The Hengshan Rd. subway station was also close. The toilet flush was not working very well in my room. You had to wiggle the lever to get the water tank to fill up. The room did not have a view, and looked out into the mechanical shaft. All in all, the hotel was a good deal for the price you pay. I did not get a breakfast, but there was a nice cafe, Keven's Cafe, right next to the hotel with nice sandwiches and coffee.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself.
Nightlife Tip : I enjoyed partying at Sasha's/Zappata.

Nice breakfast buffet. Internet, Games, and Movies on Demand in every room. Tried to charge for breakfast after told at check-in that it was included. Good location, short walk to subway and to good shopping. Nice breakfast buffet. Internet, Games, and Movies on Demand in every room. Although they tried to charge for breakfast (even after we were ensured at check-in that it was included) they did finally (after 10-15 minutes at checkout) find the original hotel voucher which showed that breakfast was included and the charges were dropped (I think!)
