The newly built, modern, glass-wall hotel provides 360 brightly colored guestrooms and is conveniently located near the famous Bund. The Hengsheng Peninsula Int’l Hotel is 17km from the Shanghai International Airport and 5km from the Shanghai Railway Station. The four-star hotel is situated near the Bund and is within walking distance to the Sichuan Road, one of the main shopping streets in Shanghai. It is also close to the Nanjing Road, the city's bustling commercial and shopping district. The onsite restaurant serves a variety of Chinese and Western cuisine and offers a great view of the Huangpu River and Bund.

Hotel is a 4 star hotel and the price is cheap as compare to the facilities you get .

Location is very far from most of the places of interest.

Hotel facilities are very good and it is a perfect 4 star hotel so there is no facility you can miss in the hotel . Breakfast is continental so i dont miss anything which is required in the normal breakfast . Only problem is the location of the hotel .The metro station is very far from the hotel so you have to take a taxi to reach the metro station.

The Check-in procedure was fast and simple. Top floor (26th) is a loungh with good city view, but not much to the bund.

The size of the room was little bit small comparing to the 4 star hotel's standard. Locationwise, 1/2 hr walk to the subway station. The changing room at the swimming pool needed to be fixed and organized as boxes and clean-up materials were everywhere.

Rooms were clean and offered coffee maker such as one can make cappuchino and regular coffee. Water caddle for tea. Also provided sleepers, tooth brush, and shaver. Hotel had men club for massage and sauna, but one had to pay almost US $80 for using the sauna. Good restaurant with reasonable prices (if not, one can dine out for Shanghai foods just outside the right hand corner of the hotel - many place to eat at the back of the street).

Hotel Feature Tip : There are quite a few buses outside the hotel will take you to the bund and People Square with only $2 local money. Taxi will charge around $15 in their currency. Walking at night was quite safe. Walking to the Bund would only take 20 mins with normal pace.

Staff at the lobby are very supportive. Good location. Rooms are very clean and well maintained.

Ladies at the reception can be more cheerful. Laundry please check once you receive the cloths, I had a jeans came with a hole and inside in couple of shirts the stitching had come off.

The hotel is located almost close to across the Bund. The house keeping though they don't speak English could still patiently understand and do the needful. I restaurants are clean and they serve Western and the Chinese Breakfasts. The person at the Lobby was very helpful to guide precisely if I needed any help throughout. The internet Connections are very good. Do not forget to enjoy the 26th floor bund view in the night.
