The locations near the Bund and the restaurant on the 2nd floor.
The rooms were not at all what we expected of a four star hotel. Weak air conditioning, and smell of dampness
Not very good location

Although it was a good room, the hotel location wasn't good at all, the neighborhood isn't very nice and takes a very long walk to the nearest subway station, actually, hotel staff recommends only taxi for transportation to or from the hotel. The website stands that it is located near The Bund but you will have to make a canal crossing that's not very friendly.

We travelled to China independently of any tour group. Our experience in Beijing, Huanshang and Shanghai of hotels was all good at very reasonable prices. We found people always polite and anxious to please. Always negotiate hard on purchases and have no fear of public transport - our experience of internal flights, internal rail travel, taxis, tours etc. was of excellent organisation and little problem. Notwithstanding we spoke no Chinese we experienced no problems.
- Travel tip : Approach with open mind.
