Excellent location, near Times Square, this is one of the best shopping streets. Starbucks is only 1/2 block away. Street beautifully lit at night, close to Bund, Museums, can walk two blocks to hot new area Xintandi for nightlife, Jazz, shopping and a T8, a wonderful fusion restaurant. Don't miss Jean George, a 5 star restaurant at Bund 3, easy taxi ride away. Lots of great restaurants to walk to and enjoy. Nanjing Rd. is also great shopping. This is the best location and the hotel is well priced.

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable with separate bathrooms. Excellent views of skyline. Nice to have a TV in every room. Thankfully rooms are soundproof so you don't hear your neighbor's TV or their snoring.

Breakfast sampled only once. Massages are only for men. Not necessarily theraputic. Picture of woman on table is misleading. Money conversion is not always available for $500USD/day. Going to the bank is time consuming for valuable tourist time.

• Shopping Tip : Times Square--all brands and local items to buy are easily found and a grocery store in the basement for snacks, etc.

I have stayed at this hotel four times in the past year. I always stay in the regular hotel room part, but they have larger apartments if needed. I will continue to stay here when I go to Shanghai. In my opinion, the location is perfect. The hotel is affordable and it has everything a business traveller needs. I recommend it.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are a number of parks right across the street from the hotel. I like to go there to jog and relax. Very nice.
