Great location, nice hotel, very nice staff I was shocked when I ordered room service and was told that there was a 10% charge for room service. In any other hotel, the charge on the menu is what you pay, not 10% more. But the food was excellent, so 10% was no big deal. The hotel is very nice, clean, excellent rooms, and the location can't be beat. Its a very good deal when you get the discount price. Published price is a bit high, but who pays that? The restaurant attached to the hotel is certainly no one of Shanghai's best.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Yu Yan Gardens is a great place to go, even several days in a row. Walk all around the periphery as well as inside. Some of the best shops are not on the first floor so look arround.

Lovely hotel room. Good breakfast. Internet access. Good location. This hotel was lovely, the room was big and modern, I noticed that someone else had commented on the bathroom which has a large window looking into the bedroom and offers no privacy but there is a blind which you can pull down. The service at the hotel was great and we were able to check in early at 10am instead of waiting until 2. I think where ever you stay in Shanghai you may have to walk alittle to get to the main attractions and we only had to walk 10 minutes to reach the main shopping strip or Peoples Square.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to book train tickets elsewhere (We went to Hong Kong) the hotel can not arrange this for you as suggested on booking websites, you'll need to go to the main railway station to window 10
