Great location for this hotel

I have lived in shanghai for years and it was time to go back for a short visit. I choose HJH for thelocation and it was a good choice. Minutes walk from all types of restaurants and small shops.
The rooms were decent and the bed comfy. There was also a small gym for my daily run.

Overall I like the location especially near the train station. Room is clean , cosy & new.. Front reception is extrememly helpful and caring.Central lation which is near to everything. There are lots of small shops around the area which make it easy to find food.

overall very sincere and helpful service from most staff. receptionists have no smile though.
very stylish rooms but a bit weird if you already have a twin room yet the shower wall is still an opaque glass.... double bed rooms i understand but... twin beds... not intimate... hello?

nice and tidy and have everything you need. i arrived late at night and all the paperwork was ready, so i didn't have to wait for a long time at the lobby. check in and check out procedures were simple and efficient. it was not too difficult to hail taxis outside the hotel and the metro station is close by. overall, a convenient and comfortable option.

The Hotel is pretty well located close to Shan Xi Nan Lu Subway station (5 min walking). There is an element fresh just in front of the hotel and there are also lots of restaurants around the area. The staff of the hotel is very kind and they supported us all the time on all questions we had.

As advised by the receptionist, this hotel is in fact more likely for business trip instead of casual travel. And that's why they could do a free room upgrade for me to higher floor. The room looks great when I opened the door and found it very spacey. The picture used in the website here is same as what I saw physically. The bathroom is nice and hygiene. The prompt service is great when we ordered another set of clean towel after shower.
Shopping Tip:
There are several shopping centres nearby and they are just 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The staying was very positive and the performance of all the people of the staff made us feel like at home. The Hotel is located pretty close by walking (within 10 minutes) to very good restaurantes like El Bulli, Mistral and few "all you can eat" japaneses. Also, in 20 min you can reach People Square. There is also an Element Fresh with Balcony just in front of the Hotel.
