Great location but rooms are not cleaned

The bedsheet were not changed (we were there for 5 nights). Shower stall are often flooded and water would run into the floor of the washroom. Would not recommend this hotel to others. I can't understand why it was rated 5 stars.

Great location; can walked all the way to the Bund

When making reservation, we usually put a note that we require non-smoking room, but when we arrived, there wasn't any available so that was very disappointing. However, the location was great and it only tooked us 10 mins to get to Nanjing walking street.

most of hotel staffs cannot speak english. many facilities are out of order like tv, refrigerator and air condition, need to complain to fix them all. however hotel is a good location near metro, but most of taxi do not know the hotel. the room size is quite small. anyway if you want to select the hotel which located in the good area, safety and reasonable price. kingtown riverside should be a one of your choice.

Great hotel

The room was clean with large bathroom and fully equipped with all necessary need. The hotel also provided free wireless Internet connection and some English cable channels. The staffs were service-minded and helpful. Most staffs can communicate and understand English quite well. The hotel located close to a subway with only a couple of minutes of walk. Nearby the hotel, there are a couple of restaurants and mini-marts. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely go back there again if I visit Shanghai. However, it is easier to miss the hotel when you firstly arrive since the hotel name is not completely the same as stated in Agoda.

Should be a Really Good Hotel

hotel was hard to find in a small back street. we were given a larger lower room to begin with, but after putting up with the sewerage smell which couldn't be fixed, we had to request a different room which took 3 changes of staff shifts to arrange. after that the deluxe riverview room, although smaller, was good (but had no safe). breakfast was good, especially with the y15 discount voucher given to us at the desk. we would stay again.
