Pretty location, remarkable service and qualty

Lovely location, young ambience, superb quality in the rooms as well as service.
the main door was a little too small hiding around the corner but it didn't affect anything.
Overall perfect.
Hotel Feature Tip:
a little far away from airports. hence prepare yourself 1.5hr on the road with traffic.

Great location, great rooms, great service

Staff was wonderful. I had a non-smoking room that someone had obviously smoked in right before I arrived. The staff promptly switched my room to one that was definitely smoke free, and upgraded me to a larger room.
Location was excellent. And, the rooms were clean and well-appointed. Perfect for the business traveler.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The ferry to cross the river to the Pudong side of the river is just across the street. Don't be afraid to try it out, even though it's mostly locals who are riding it.

Great location and amazing staff
Location, right in the Bund

Stayed here 2 nights during trip home to europe. It happened to be our wedding anniversary and when staff found out, we were upgraded to a gorgeous suite, with amazing views of the Bund. Staff were so helpful and hotel had a lovely modern interior. Rooms spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast had a very large choice of both western and chinese options.
Location was bang on the Bund.
Was a real treat to stay here and would definately stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We did Shanghai sideways motorbike tour of city. Was amazing way to see hidden away parts of shanghai with local guide.

had a nice stay here. not overly glamorous, like the waldorf down the street. but, every bit as comfortable, clean, and nice. like goldilocks and the 3 bears, it was just right.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are a non-smoker, ask for a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. And, don't feel sheepish about asking for a room change if someone smoked in your room. They may have an extra room available that is much more smoke free. Staff is very attentive, and friendly.

Great low-key hotel with magnificent views and gre
The hotel isn't profiling itself as a large hotel but feels more like a boutique hotel. Only during breakfast you notice how large the hotel is and how many guests there are. The suites are very luxurious and quiet

from entering the hotel to leaving, every detail is taken care off. it starts with a welcome drink, goes on with complimentary tea time in the lobby and fruits in the room, to great service at check out and a taxi waiting when you leave. at no point where we disappointed.

we stayed for 4 nights,great rooms,not very big but cosy. staff were attentive and helpful. great location by the bund and amazing view from the rooms,also within walking distance to the shopping area. There is a 24 hour lounge with snacks and fruit.breakfast selection was decent. overall great hotel,worth the money spent

this hotel ticks all the boxes.position is perfect right on the bund. the hotel staff and service are faultless, the food is excellent and so many things that are extras at other hotels are complimentary here. everything is modern and spotlessly clean. shanghai is the western china.....modern and alive. you can mix up a very interesting 3 to 5 days here.

Super hotel, fantastic location

I stayed a weekend and was delighted at the place and the service. It is very well furnished, room was large and clean, flat screen TV .A free in room wi-fi which for me is very important. The hotel is right on the Bund and I had a nice view from my room. Also they offer free tea and coffee during the day with little canapé. You can sit in the second floor cafe and watch the river traffic. delightful.
