Super Modern Hotel in fabulous location

Overlooking the river with views of the Pearl Tower and the Pudong skyline, an excellent base for exploring Shanghai.
We loved the espresso machine and complimentary soft drinks in our room.
Luxurious pillows and bathroom, slippers and robes, could not ask for more.
We ate breakfast and one dinner, all were beautiful. The dining room is well appointed. The common lounge with cookies, fruit and tea/coffee all day is a lovely touch and very comfortable.
Staff were friendly, efficient with excellent English. It's easy to see why this hotel is No 1!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Close to the subway line 2, can take the Maglev and Metro from the airport.

Hotel with great location and excellent service

We stay in Les Suites Orient during our holiday last month. We found out this hotel from trip advisers web-site. It is actually voted number # 1 hotel in Shanghai by people staying there before. Hotel is located right at the southern end of the Bund and with views across the Wanpu river and Pudong area. Hotel staff are excellent with plenty of smile and answer to your request promptly. Looking at the hotel from outside is pretty ordinary but inside is an entirely different story. Lobby and halls are beautifully and elegantly decorated. Room are very comfortable, functional and modern.
Everyone from my family love this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
on the same floor with lobby there is an area to use where computers with internet, Apple Mac and even Ipad is available for hotel guests to use. Fruits, cookies and drinks are free too. Should visit this area to chill out after a long day.

The bathtub overlooking the spectacular Bund was the perfect introduction to Shanghai and indeed China. The breakfast could not be faulted and the entire hotel surroundings were intimate, warm and professional. Great hotel!

Wash basin does not drain. No 24h cleaning service

be very careful if room cleanliness bothers you. the wash basin drains very slowly.... the remnants of your toothpaste froth will cling to the side of the wash basin. we changed rooms, still the same problem. get housekeeping to clean it up? no 24h housekeeping service!!!

This place makes you want to stay inside. Just gazing to the skyline or relaxing in the cozy lounge enjoying free tea, snacks and iPad.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant "Mister & Mrs. Bund" is a great place with modern French cuisine and fantastic view on the skyline from the 6th floor. 10min walking distance from the hotel.

stayed in les suites for 2 days and it was a wonderful experience. walking into the lobby of the hotel will give you the nostalgic feeling of old shanghai with all the props and display along the corridor. the hotel service staff are friendly and able to converse with good english. they even share with us the "must go" visit attraction in shanghai. the room was great and clean. the tub is hugh with a lcd tv right infront for viewing. soaking in the warm bath tub, enjoy the view of the bund and listening to classical music is so heavenly. there's also a electrical toilet bowl too that give you the warmy feeling especially during the morning toilet session. there is also a electric outside temperature display on the mirror the whole room is centralise controlled with a mulit remote control at the side of the bed. there is also a ipod dock beside the bed for you to plug in your ipod and play you own music through their centralise sound system. another plus points is also the the coffee machine! i am glad that les suites orient is one of the best decision i made during my trip to shanghai and i will recommend to my friends and definitely stay when i visit shanghai again!
