Does not worth the money spent
Only teh desgin of the Hotel and quiteness.

The location is good... the money does not worht the stay in this hotel. it does not even have a lobby for God seak... breakfast doesn not even meet the mim good meal... all Chinees stuff... only Egg we were able to eat and bread...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
close the river walk , that is the only advantage of this place, if you like to walk daily on the Bund..

Luxury hotel with great location

Nice Huangpu river and the Bund view from the room. The hotel itself located in the center of Shanghai. Limited selection of breakfast but acceptable. The drop off area is quite small for our rental van. The noise from the street and the pier is quite annoying in the beginning but getting better in the night time.

Everybody very nice and friendly, always available to improve the quality of the guests staying at the hotel. The breakfast quite good and with a good variety. Cleaning with high quality, not only in the rooms as well as allover the hotel. The mini bar prices were also quite fair. We enjoyed a lot.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shanghai is beautiful, charming and unique. Some places are absolutely amazing. It is a very worthwhile travel.

Great Location and view to die for!

I loved this hotel, travelled with my gorgeous Mum and stayed at this lovely hotel. Our room was beautiful, spotless and had an amazing view of the bund and new shanghai, including oriental pearl tower from our window. Lovely touches like flower in the room and fruit bowl. Excellent proximity to the Bund on the old shanghai side. About a 10 min walk to cruise terminal, recommended and right across the road from the ferry terminal which can take you across the river to 'New' Shanghai and the opportunity to go up the Oriental Pearl Tower. Well worth doing. The interior design is beautiful and clean simple lines, all wood and stone. Delicious breakfasts every morning. They also have a a guest sitting room with internet access and coffee and tea, delicious biscuits and cakes all complimentary.
The only thing I would suggest the hotel provide, is more information to the guests on the Red Bus Double Decker tours which are fantastic way of seeing the city and getting your bearings! You can hop on and off the bus as many times you like over a 24hr period, for 30Yuan. Very cheap!! Make sure you visit Xindianti, wonderful shopping and fab restaurants abound! Beautiful architecture. The Red Bus stops there. Also all the other sightseeing available. I think this would benefit their hotel and better serve their customers.

It's a 5 star hotel features, modern designs and high tech bidet, but room is a little bit small. Great location, walking distance to many shops. Wonderful staff, very accommodating.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Better to get the Big Bus ride and pay 300 RMB for the city tour, including some free entrance like in Jade Buddha, River Cruise, you can use the ticket for 48 hrs.

Great location and beautiful room

I travelled with a friend and thought we would treat ourselves to a nice hotel for a night. The room was great, very well equipped with shower, separate bathtub with TV, iron, coffee machine, complimentary fruit, ipod dock, bedside remote control for curtains, lights, bedroom tv etc. We also visited the gym during our stay, it is small but well maintained.
The service was not as high as expected but still good. The reception was quite busy so that might have impacted their service level.
We had a couple of small issues during our stay. Our room key did not work at first so we had to return to reception for it to be activated. We also had an issue with our door lock for a couple of minutes as it didn't lock after we left the room. It miraculously fixed itself, but earlier in our trip at a different hotel we had the same issue so we were a bit weary. The door chain was missing inside so if the lock malfunctioned again, someone would have been able to enter our room. The only other issue we had was we left our luggage at the hotel after checking out, when we came back to pick them up they didn't know where our luggage was for 5 minutes so my friend and I panicked for a while. They found it in the end.
Overall, although there were hiccups we enjoyed our stay. I think we were just a little unlucky. I would recommend this hotel to others.
