It was quite horrible. My flight got in late, the hotel reception did not speak a single word of English. Could NOT find my booking, have never heard of Agoda and didn't know what it was when I showed him the confirmation. My friend who's local shanghainese tried to talk to him and he was still unresponsive and rude. His manager helped but still took around 45 minutes to check in. Didn't get to my room until 4am. I had a hugely hard time checking out in the morning as well, causing me to run late to my meeting. Extremely inefficient.
The designs of the room was alright, business-looking. I can see the convenience as they had a small kitchen and washing machine. I think that was the only thing that redeemed the hotel a little bit. The bed was rock hard and the walls were paper-thin. I even heard the guy next door get in and out of his bathtub!
Will never stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone -- unless I really don't like that person!
