This hotel will never change
Staff is so lazy, impolite, not helpful at all. Rooms standart and deluxe are so small. Heater doesnt work properly , its freezing place during winter. Noise insulation is unexistant, wifi is really so so If you want to have a good time in shanghai , spend 20 € more and you gonna have a real standard 4 to 5 stars. One more time desappointed after waiting 4 years to go back to this hotel for testing again. They will never get me again

cheating staff members
We (my business partners and I) booked four suites with breakfast. When we went to the rooms after checking in and realized they are standard rooms. So we went down to the reception area and told them they made mistakes that we suppose to be in suites. They changed the rooms to suites, but the suites given to us were so old and tired, we felt they were worse than the standard rooms. After we checked out and heading to the airport, we received an email from Agoda stating the hotel told them that they refunded RMB 100 to us when we were checking out, so they need to charge RMB 100 from our credit card. This is just plain cheating and an outrageous low act considering this is a so called 5 star hotel. Though RMB 100 is not a big amount, the act is disgusting. The reality is they did not refund us a cent. We will never book this hotel again.

Location good but very touristy, Checking in and out was quite quick
Rooms were not 5 star standard, only two small bottles of drinking water, bathtub plug deliberately not operational.
