For it's price the Manhattan Bund Business Hotel is value for money if you intend to spend as little time in the room as possible.
- Great location: it is a 3-4 minute walk from the Bund, a major tourist attraction, and on the street parallel to Nanjing Road (east), a major shopping area
- Stuffy room: I took a 'Manhattan mini with no window' room, which it appeared hadn't been cleaned properly. It was stuffy and had a bit of a damp smell, and there was no toilet paper. I went and complained to the front desk and they immediately gave me a new room which was just a wee bit larger but felt more spacious, smelled better and had been cleaned.
- Helpful staff: despite not being very conversant with English, the staff was friendly and always ready to help.
- There was WiFi on every floor, and it worked quite well for me.
This is not a hotel you're going to spend much time in unless it is for the WiFi, but the location is fantastic. For the little time that I spent there, and given how much it cost me, it was value for money.

The only good thing about this hotel is the locatoin and the decor within is quite nice and of a style not found in other hotels. But there would be other hotels worth considering, i could not recommend. i checked into my room (no window) and found a broken toilet didnt flush. Air cond did not work, and TV broken... not a pleasant experience however you can use their bikes for 2 hours free and within walking distance to the bund.
