Rooms were small but clean. Buffet breakfast, both western and chinese food. Internet access can be difficult, no wi-fi access. Very limited English Front desk staff, tour desk speaks no English.

Small rooms, location near bund and nanjing

A little walk from line 10 subway station, but to be near the bund this is a good place, however the internet cost was exception as most hotels in China provide free lan internet. The area around is quite quiet. Room was small but ok and all was average, nothing to complain.

Conveniently close to Nanjing Road Shopping area; subway and buses
close by; rooms clean and service staff very cordial and friendly.
Breakfast buffet now moved to second floor totally handicapped unfriendly. Toaster machine has never worked properly in the nearly eight years I've been staying at the hotel! Within a ten -twelve minute walk of hotel, one can experience almost any and every type of life in Shanghai. Business center Internet access expensive and poorly maintained. But nearby Internet cafes and plentiful, cheap and smoke-filled!

Very clean hotel with very helpful staff
NIce clean rooms, managed daily, free bottled water per day.

The room was very nice and clean and was very happy to rest my feet after long flights. However the hotel website said there was a sauna but there wasn't one to be found in the hotel, but all in all a very nice and welcome stay!

Great location in the city and good overall quality. On its best day it could aspire to 4 stars. Barely, though. One of their obvious drawbacks is absence of Internet in rooms and unpractical Internet in the lobby (which is not free). In Shanghai, that's ridiculous.
