New Harbour Service Apartments is a four-star all-suite hotel located in the heart of Shanghai, with its close proximity to top sightseeing destinations. The hotel is in between two main airports, Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport. Some of the best places the city has to offer are easily accessible, including WaiTan, commercial Nanjing Road, People's Square and Yuyuan Gardens. For later in the evening, Yunnan Road Night Market is the place to be for some delicious noodles and local dishes. The subway, elevated way and the tunnel all provide convenience in transportation. Self Service Laundry is cheap and open 24/7 We stayed at New Harbour Service Apartments in Shanghai for roughly 4 days and found the stay pleasant. The apartments are located in a local area while also close to main attractions such as the Peoples Square and Nanjing Road. The 10 minute walk felt easy and safe. There were numerous times when we walked back late at night.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They are also doing some renovations in time for the world expo 2010. Works start at roughly 9am and finish at 6pm so isn't too bad. We'd definately stay here again as the apartment was value for money and in a great location.

They should just raise room rate a little and no irritation of high extra cost, as most hotels do. Taxi drivers often have difficulty finding place, even though it is convenient central locaiton. Staff is very cold, not friendly or welcoming, although bellhop at arrival is welcoming. Seems like management is completeley indifferent to customer happiness. I will try another place next time.

Directions
The location of Yong Shou Road is better placed for both transportation and travel. The Highway, leading directly to the Airport in one direction and immediately under the Yanan Road Tunnel into Pudong in the other, enables quick and easy access to all of Shanghai.
The close proximity to the Shanghai's Metro underground Rail Network also affords guests total flexibility when wishing to travel. The Hongqiao International Airport can be reached within 30-minutes and the Pudong International airport is 1-hour's drive away.
It only takes 10 minutes drive away from the hotel to Pudong via the Yanan Road tunnel.
