Good value for money

Four girls shared the 2 bedroom apartment with a big living room. There is only one bathroom. The interior makes it look like someone's home. I think it is good value for money if you have 4 people sharing the cost and the location is pretty good.

Stay here before, getting older
has a kitchen, market nearby like tesco express and 7 eleven, tv has english channels

i stayed here before about two years ago. things look very new and good. now, everything seems old. ex: the tv is not very clear. somethings have been replace like new electric cooker. but overall, it is a pretty good hotel. the maid is very organized person.
Shopping Tip:
There is a market called NGS that is just down the street that is on the left side of the main exit of the hotel.

We were there at the end of August 2011.
The hotel is a high rise apartment complex with 10+ units in each floor. Think of each unit is a apartment with bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, living area with sofas, a smaill dinning area and a small kitchen stove with microwave and small refrigerator. It also provides cups, plates etc. Wired internet in the room with free wifi in lobby only.
A very small bar in the lobby. Restaurant serves breakfast but it's not attractive so we didn't try. I did 1 load of (self service) laundry which cost RMB $40 including laundry detergent. A full service laundry would cost another RMB $20.
As the name of the hotel says, it's an apartment style hotel which is much much better than the traditional hotel.
Even though I paid fully for the hotel at booking. It asks for $$$ as deposit (cash or credit card) at check-in.
It is about 10 min walk to MTR route 8. From PuDong airport, take route 2 then change to route 8 which cost about RMB $7 each person. We took taxi from hotel to airport, cost us RMB $160.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If it is your 1st time, I suggest taking the 24 hours hop on/off bus. There are 2 different company for this. The only we took costs RMB $30. It's truly 24 hours. For example, if you get on at 2:00pm then you have until next day 2:00pm to get on and off.
With the tour bus, you can also get discount tickets for other attractions such as cruise, wax museum and Oriental Pearl etc.

Ok overall, but with some annoying quirks

this is a good hotel overall, with spacious apartments and in a fairly good locations. however, it suffers from quirks which can make staying here very annoying. firstly, while the apartments are spacious and have kitchens, you have to pay to rent pots and pans. secondly, there is no kettle in the apartments, but only a gallon drum of water which has a heating element - but i found it all switched off and did not drink the water, in case it had been there since who knows when. thirdly, the air conditioning units in the rooms are old and very, very noisy - good luck sleeping soundly with one of those making a racket in the background. the business centre is also substandard - i tried to use it but all their programs were out of date, and there was no toner in the printer. finally, the hotel's guest areas play endless repeats of strange music like the godfather tune, all day and night, which makes the atmosphere a but weird.

sometime you needed to kept call ( couple times)for your certain needed utensils.
kitchen is there but no cooking pans.
water dispenser is provided and that's all is good enough for us.
Restaurant Tip:
Plenty of restaurant, If you looking for a good foods and is more hygienic and wash room, Pudong is the area to have diner.
Nan Jing some is oke, but talking to the wash room, average less clean compare to Pudong.

The serviced apartment is well kept. The apartment room is clean and very spacious. The apartment is located at the center of the city, near to several tourist attractions and easy access to the public transport (Metro Line). The breakfast provided is not so good though, and the price is slightly expensive.
