The room was very comfortable, quiet, and elegantly decorated. The room was equipped with a nice office desk and a small sofa. It provided one free drink at the hotel bar/coffee shop. There was nothing we felt dissatisfied. Bathroom is well equipped with high quality soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and bath powders. The toilet is a washlet. The room provides slippers and Japanese yukata (like kimono) so you do not need to bring your own pajamas. We used a sewing knit and, to our amazement, each needle was already threaded. The hotel pays detailed attention for ensuring the comfort of hotel guests.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is conveniently located for subways to get to Shanghai Museum and the Shangahi World Circus.

Flexible drink ticket, clean tap water. Flexible drink ticket: The ticket is supposed to be used in the lobby lounge or the Rose restaurant, but the hotel was flexible enough to let me bring back a glass of drink to my room for some reason of me. Clean tap water: I enjoyed bath time with clean water, which is actually and surprisingly drinkable, after staying some other five-star hotels which have not filtered tap water enough and I had to take a bath with yellow-colored and smelled water. Old-fashioned room: It was comfortable enough, but comparing to the latest hotels, it looked old-fashioned. Unless guests pursue the "latest" comfort, it might be no problem though.
